我们的第一站是平遥古城。平遥古城是中国保存为完整的一座古代县城，距今已有2700多年的历史，靠近平遥古城景区，第一映入眼帘的便是那层层叠叠的古城墙，高大宏伟，古朴厚重，把整个古城牢牢地圈在它的怀抱里。平遥古城里的街道用青砖铺就，笨拙中透着古朴与整洁，街道两旁的民居与建筑古色古香，房梁上雕刻着吉祥花纹，使人感受到厚重的文化气息。

平遥古城的年味很浓，街道两旁挂着大红灯笼，房门两侧贴着喜庆春联，这里是中国年味浓的地方!

我们徒步走到景区核心，那里人流如潮，人头攒动，热闹极了!旁边小商小贩的吆喝声此起彼伏，路旁特色小吃摊上香飘千里，吸引了不少“食客”，我们仿佛穿越到了明清时代，体验具有古代特色的中国年。

平遥古城中有特色的特产是推光漆器，它是远近闻名的手工艺品，漆器大多是首饰盒、袖珍屏风等。它们一个个雕工精致、古色古香，给人的印象很有民族特色。

我们还品尝了平遥的特色面食-炒碗秃，吃起来很筋道，满口留香。

在平遥古城度过了一个上午，我发现我真的爱上了这座小城，爱上了它的古朴、爱上了它的安逸，再会，平遥古城!
